The Ai Spark Blog publishes practical, plain-English guides on AI automation, AI tools and CRM systems, written for small business owners, freelancers and entrepreneurs who want results, not hype.
Why this blog exists
Most AI content online falls into one of two traps. Either it is so technical that only developers can follow it, or it is so full of hype that it never explains how anything actually works. Small business owners deserve better: clear explanations, honest advice about what AI can and cannot do, and step-by-step guides they can follow on a busy Tuesday afternoon.
That is what we aim to publish. Every article is written to answer a real question a business owner might ask, and to leave them with something they can try straight away.
What we write about
- AI Automation: how to connect your apps and let workflows handle repetitive tasks, with tools like n8n, Make and Zapier.
- AI Tools: how to choose, test and get real value from AI tools without wasting money on subscriptions you do not need.
- CRM: how to organise your leads and customers, build a sales pipeline, and automate your follow-ups.
About the author
Our editorial approach
- Practical first. We explain things the way we would explain them to a client: simply, with real examples.
- Honest about limits. AI is useful, but it is not magic. We say when a tool or technique is not the right fit.
- Kept up to date. AI tools change quickly. We review and update our guides when features or best practices change.
- Independent. We are not paid to recommend any tool mentioned on this blog. If that ever changes, we will clearly disclose it.
How we test and label evidence
Where a guide makes a claim, we try to show what it rests on. These are the labels you will see:
- Tested / verified. We did it ourselves and saw the result. We say what was actually tested, when, and what was not.
- Official source only. It comes from the tool maker’s or regulator’s own documentation, which we link. We did not test it, and we do not present it as our own test.
- Illustrative example. A made-up example that explains an idea. It is labelled, and it is not a client or a result.
- Not tested / not verified. We have not tried it, so we do not describe how it behaves.
Some guides add labels such as “seen in our account” (we looked, read-only, without testing how it behaves) or “our recommendation” (our own judgement, not a test result). We also publish limits, partial results and things that went wrong. Some older guides use plainer wording and do not yet carry these labels.
